What Inspired On Living Well?

The idea for On Living Well emerged from a personal struggle that we felt many men can relate to. In our own experience, our wives must often remind us of important family matters. It's not that we don't care about these things, but we don't naturally think about them amidst the busyness of work and other ambitions. This led us to wonder: Do other men face the same challenge? Are we, as men, often so focused on our vocational goals that we neglect to give family matters the attention they deserve?

There are also times where we are more focused on family matters and feel like we are putting our careers on the back burner. Is it even possible to have balance or do everything well?

Men are inherently ambitious, driven by a desire to succeed and provide. However, this ambition can sometimes lead to an imbalance where family responsibilities are unintentionally sidelined. This isn't just about dividing household chores; it's about caring for the entire family unit in a way that fosters love, connection, and mutual support.

Recognizing this gap, we saw a need for resources that could help men build strong habits of family leadership while maintaining their ambition and drive for work. On Living Well was born out of this need. Our mission is to help men lead their families with strength and compassion, balancing their vocational ambitions with a deep commitment to their loved ones.

Our goals are simple – to bring together a community of men who are seeking to lead and love their families well while aggressively pursuing their career, equip them, and encourage them to share tools, resources, and life skills with others. Together, we can redefine what it means to be a successful man by placing family leadership and intentional living at the core of our daily routines.
